Magyk - Book Review

Magyk - Book Review
Magyk (Septimus Heap, Book 1) by Angie Sage

A very interesting and enchanting book! It took me a bit to get into it, and then I just couldn't put it down. I wanted to hear what happened to everyone and I wanted to see if I had it figured out correctly about who was really Septimus Heap. I liked that at the end all main characters were brought back and explained where they were and what they were doing. I think it was enjoyable and looked forward to reading other books in the series.

Septimus Heap is the main character in a series of fantasy novels. He is the seventh son of a seventh son, and as such, has extraordinary magical powers. After he becomes an apprentice to the arch wizard of the series, Marcia Overstrand, he must study for seven years and a day until his apprenticeship ends.

Other books in the series:

Flyte (Septimus Heap, Book 2)
Physik (Septimus Heap, Book Three)
Septimus Heap, Book Five: Syren
Septimus Heap, Book Six: Darke
Septimus Heap, Book Seven: Fyre

Note: I checked the book out of the library, but the books in this series are such a delight and have such interesting covers I am tempted to add them to my personal library.
