Sean Porter is a former college football player who now works with incarcerated youth at a juvenile detention center. Knowing the vicious cycle of life on the streets that awaits most of them when they’re released, Sean pushes them to become better by forming the center’s football team in hopes they’ll turn their backs on their deadly lifestyles while gaining focus, self-esteen and the ability to work together as a team. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Gridiron Gang”.

· Willie is writing a letter to Danyelle after her visit. In the close-up of his hands as he picks up the photo of her, Willie shifts the photo to his left hand as he puts down the pencil he’s holding in his right hand. Willie then puts switches the photo to his right hand. The scene cuts to a front view of him and the photo is in his left hand while his right hand is empty and near his mouth. He’s shown taking the photo in his right hand and putting it down.

· The team is on the bus on the way to their first football game. A convertible with a girl in the passenger seat pulls alongside the bus. The boys start yelling. The scene cuts to an overhead view of the bus when Bug yells, “She waving at me” but the convertible is no longer there.

· The Mustangs are playing the Panthers in the playoff game. In the first play of the game, Willie catches the kick off and #55 of the Panthers is shown from behind, running at him. The player is wearing long red sleeves and still has them when the touchdown is overturned. During the next play, #55’s long red sleeves are gone.

“Gridiron Gang” (2006) stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Xzibit, L Scott Caldwell, Leon Rippy, Kevin Dunn, Jade Yorker, David V. Thomas, Setu Taase, Mo McRae, James Earl, Trevor O’Brien, Brandon Mychal Smith and Jurnee Smollett-Bell. It runs 125 minutes and is rated PG-13 for some startling scenes of violence, mature thematic material and language.
